Album - What did you expect-The Vaccines. or a couple of songs off there, wetsuit, wreckin bar, post break up sex. All worth a listen
I was reviewing my Shazam history the other day and found this gem which I recorded at some club night in Glasgow around Hogmanay. It's totally retro and derivative and probably the best song that the Rolling Stones never made. Enjoy Foxygen - Make it Known
I've never seen them but their live shows look awesome. Just missed them in the UK as their tour started just after I left. Hoping to catch them later this year and really looking forward to the new album.
Just one song needed Ali in the Jungle - The Hours Ideal for the situation too... ending with the lyrics..."the greatest comeback since Lazarus...."
The Cribs - Payola ( the best of they have just realeased) Pavement - slanted and enchanted / brighten the corners The Members - at the chelsea nightclub The best of dischord records
Iron Maiden - Somewhere back in Time - the best of 1980 /1989 windows down and Trooper banging out on full blast
Laibach - In the army now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZpGP6UN85Q Steven Wilson - Puncture Wound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZTeBOOY3XI Phildel - Storm Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEXwpBoIq_Q
I'd go for The Best of The Jam A compilation album like Teenage Kicks http://www.amazon.co.uk/Teenage-Kic...&qid=1366389370&sr=1-2&keywords=Teenage+kicks The newly released Seriously 90s looks good http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seriously-9...&qid=1366389242&sr=1-1&keywords=seriously+90s
Jesus and Mary Chain (I forgot how really good they were) Ramones AC/DC Queensryche Van Halen and my personal favourites Pink Floyd.
Thats amazing, I was actually listening to Teenage Kicks album in the car today. Some great tracks to take me back to my youth. Had to laugh when the Toy Dolls sang Nellie the elephant.
Of monsters and men - my head is an animal (Icelandic band, folky, Knocks spots off Mumford) Bauer - sleeping giant (up and coming Manchester band) Villagers - awayland (great second album, something a bit different) All decent new albums
