Obviously doesn't apply to season ticket holders, but all opinions are appreciated.

So many of our fans are crying out for Hull City tickets to be £5/10 next weekend, for whatever their reasons. This is a bloody massive match for BFC, 3 points are vital and if other results went our way could help secure our Championship status for another season, isn't that enough incentive to dig deep and pay the £20/23?

I genuinely do not understand what our fans want or expect.

There are some lapsed fans who won't even register this game ..... I have a few in mind. I can see them coming at £5 a go. No chance at £20.

Make it a fiver and bring in some bodies. We'd lose some brass but we need atmosphere and support

At the end of the day though, BFC is a business, so they don't want to lose any more money, and we'd lose a shitload more if we went down. Attendances don't win matches, as we often remind our lovely neighbours in S6.

Will it though. Palace had a family day against barnsley and had more in. There fans said the atmosphere was worse than normal

Wouldn't we also have to offer it to the hull fans for £5?

At the end of the day I'd prefer not to let Hull have any more tickets than the North Stand. If we make it a cheap day for our fans, we might be able to keep them quiet, and sell out the home areas. Got to be worth a gamble.... £"0 a go is not going to bring more than 9,000 reds fans in.

We got nearly 10,000 home fans in for the Wolves match earlier this season at £20 / £23 on a Tuesday night so can't see why we can't equal or better that for another massive game on a Saturday at the same price

Why don't the club do buy 1 get 1 free or buy 1 get 1 half price, could get bums on seats.

I have a season ticket and to be honest I would normally be against this kind of £5 incentive but for the Hull game I am 100% behind it. Let's get as many bodies as possible into Oakwell and see a reasonably full ground instead of seeing row after row of empty seats.

I agree, the less committed fans are likely to make the atmos worse not better in my opinion, likely to get on the players quicker if things arent going well. If you're not going to pay 20 quid for last home game with our Championship future in the balance then so be it, fair enough if you can't afford it, but otherwise......

Or even FREE with ST voucher I?

So the ST holder could get a mate a FREE matchday ticket. Obtained in advance though so as not cause mayhem on the turnstiles.

Treat it like an open day for next season.

I work every saturday so won't be going anyway regardless of the price but as a somewhat lapsed fan (i haven't been to a home game in 2 years) £5 entry would be very enticing in a way that £20 isn't but having said that if we did £5 entry and packed the place that would just bring more idiots to run on the pitch at the end of the game (cause it is tradition or some bo**cks like that), also the larger the crowd the more police and stewards are required and that obviously means more costs so not only would it be a drop in income also a rise in outgoings.

My opinion doesnt count as I have a ST and baring some completely unforseen circumstance will be there
Its an absplutely vital game for us I'd prefer the stadium to be full bt if its not so be it but we have performed at our best this season in front of our core support I want fans there for who the game means something - If people arent prepared to come at £20 but might wander in at a fiver - for this game I dont want them

The fans who would happily pay £30 if we had Man U or Chelsea in the cup but wont pay 20 for what is probably the most important game of the season - happier if they arnt there

(Just for this game - not as a general principle)

We know the type of 'fans'. Get to the play-offs and say they never missed a match, similarly SF of FA cup. You won't change them. If we ever get near Premier again, I'd charge them double the going rate.

£20 is a fair price for a Championship game, more so because it is such a massive game.

No one in their right mind would pay£30 to watch a game of football irrespective of the opposition

Did you go to Wembley in 2008 or Cardiff in 2006?
