I bet Robbins would be quite happy to send us down after the way he was treated - dont know the full story but I guess he would allow himself a smille if that happens - cant see him throwing the game to help us out
Maybe we could remind them of the game at the end of the 1986/87 season when we lost 1-0 at home to them to keep them up. Before the game kicked off people around us were saying we'd lose the game to help them out, but I dismissed this as nonsense. As it was, the game resembled the famous West Germany v Austria game from the 1982 World Cup!
To be fair alot of them despise us too and blame us for them dropping from the championship first time round. Basically the only way they could go down was if both Palace and Portsmouth won on the last day. We lost 4-1 at Pompey which was seen as an old pals act with Spackman helping out his best mate Graham Rix.
