Apparently our crap goalkeeper saved us time after time today. So that's another point to thank him for.

    Good lad.

Been playing well for last few month fired. Pleased that he didn't get what Alnwick did after forest game. Shot stoppings his thing and there aren't many more you would want doing it for barnsley

He's been playing well since he pulled on the shirt five years ago. He saved us again today, he's up there with our best players in the 30 odd seasons I've been going to watch BFC. It's time you shut your gob and learned a thing or two about football. RNL had a stinker by the way.

He's amongst the best keepers in the championship, I've been saying it for years and nothing has changed my mind. He makes mistakes but who doesn't but overall he has won us significantly more points than he has cost us.

Agreed. If he made significantly fewer mistakes he would be playing in the Premiership. Great keeper for us and has been for 5 years.

I would be disappointed if he hadn't had made the saves he did, And I belive he has cost us critical points! Derby for instance! He won us a point yesterday maybe but cos us 2 against derby! Swings and roundabouts I suppose!!

More like snakes and ladders and Steele has climbed many, many more ladders than he's slid down snakes.

Pretty harsh to say he cost us the points against Derby anyway I would say. He made a couple of very good saves early on to keep us level (when if we'd conceded, I think we'd have crumbled) and O'Brien going to sleep at the far post was the reason for the equaliser.

I agree. To be honest when I read his post I automatically assumed he was talking about the 6-0 against Charlton. Didn't realise he'd said derby. Jim definitely went to sleep on that one.
