I suppose my point is you saw something with all the above. Wiseman's pace, Dagnall and O'Brien's graft and Vaz Te had it all. I've not seen any of that from Lazarus.

    Hope I'm wrong.

Despite him having thinner legs than the sparrows that occasionally perch at my window. He has played with no fear & done pretty well.
In fact, given he "is one for the future", very well.

I agree with Dyson on this, not seen anything from RNL yet and hes had plenty of chances.

As for Jones hes done ok, hes got a good touch and shown good vision to pick out a player. But hes also shown equal amounts of naivety and put the team under pressure. Yesterday he booted the ball dead for a corner with no one around him and he also tried to take on 2 forest players 10 yards from the dead ball line and got tackled.

Im bored of Hemsworths constant digs at hassell now. Im not Hasells biggest fan, but I would like to see him out on the pitch for the last few games. Even if hes just on a wind up he just makes himself look totally stupid with a severe lack of football knowledge

Guys that have played most of the last 9 months against another team of guys who have played most of the last nine months is one thing. It's different with Jones who's only played twice so it should be easier than normal for him up against others.

Still needs developing before he is ready to start on a regular basis, but he does look promising and considering the circumstances he's done an excellent job. The nervous will go with experience. I'm looking forward to seeing him progress.

Some idiot had a right go at him on Saturday, after he put it out for that corner, close enough so that the lad could hear as well. I don't agree with slating a youth on his full debut or at any stage during the very beginning of their career. He played better against Forest than Derby imo. Well done Jones, keep it up!

Looks a great prospect. Amazing how he was at Bury and we nicked him for free. Stronger than he looks, quick and good on the ball. We've done really well to get him.

He's done alright but looks understandably naive. Let's have a lookat hhim over the summer, he might not even be ready for regular footy even next season. He looks to have some talent though.

The the biggest and one thing i really admire about Leeds fans.
They are very protective of there younger players. If you have a ago at a leeds players that young and come through the youth system or come to the club whilst young and learning the fans around them will have ago at that person all game for having ago at the player.
I'm told the fans can get very nasty.
Even on there forum's i'm told they don't like people having ago at the younger players. They seem to understand they are still learning and thats a reason i think that they play the younger players more and get lots of money for them.

You're suggesting we as supporters should be more like Leeds supporters?

That's that settled then. The Hull keeper is getting a slap on Saturday..

I think it helps that also get much better younger players than us and have a much better academy system and demand much more for all sales, not just youth players, mate.

How many players that have gone through the Leeds Academy in the last five years are currently playing in the Premier League, Phil?

Now the same question for Barnsley. You've got 30 minutes.

You do realise he won't answer ?

Well, not with a list of Leeds Academy players currently plying their trade in the Prem.

He'll say you're having a go at John Stone or summat. Or it'll be Bobby 'sprint' Hassell's fault.

    No relation to reality whatever.

Not a clue but they have only got tier two status and Barnsley got listed with good scorers and could go for tier 1 in three years time.

A question for you? Did you think Stones would be a first choice championship right back when you saw him probably for the first time 12 month ago?

Give Jones a Full pre season (also RNL and Digby) and watch there fitness improvement.
I'm not saying Jones will be a first choice player but i think he'll be in the 22 a lot depending on a few things.
