My name is jake and i'm doing a dissertation into football fan loyalism, rivalries and hostilities at the Barnsley campus of the university of Huddersfield (Next to the town hall). If anyone's willing to give up 30 minutes of their time next week to be interviewed (face-to-face or via messenger like skype) i will be grateful. If you are interested or would like more information please respond. Cheers

Of course, i have to follow ethical guidelines when conducting the interview. These are to let the participant know their rights. These include:
    1) right to withdraw- the participant may leave the interview or study during or after the interview should they want to. You are not obligated to give reasons for this.
    2) confidentiality- they will remain anonymous throughout the study so their personal details can't be compromised (i.e. using abbreviations is instead of full name).
    3) protection of participants- this can be in the form of physical or emotional (psychological) harm, therefore if there are any questions you are uneasy with, they can be skipped.

Hope this clears it up, cheers

p.s. nice double entendre by the way ;)

I like my usernames to be original and witty. If you think Leeds fans are cnuts so much, why not express it in the interview??? just saying

I'm too shy, I'm only brave while hiding behind a username on the internet.

I'll go along if you tell me what loyalism is.

Is it a loyalty cult sort of thing like?

Have you spoken to any former miners, Jake? You should get hold of a London Tyke too, some pay *3-4K+ each season following football. They will tell you about loyalty and commitment!!

    *Including beer!

Why people remain committed and passionate towards an Object (Barnsley fc). Given your Barnsley fans, it adds a more meaningful perspective than doing glory seekers. Hope this makes sense

I've spoken to a couple of former miners- it adds a new dimension to the equation which is interesting. Not London Tyke as of yet though. 3-4K a season, really??? Wow, gives 'fan' a whole new meaning...or not.
