Who do you reckon will win it? I don't think anyone predicted McNulty would win it last season and it could be an equally surprising choice this year.

I'd guess at Cranie but it could be anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if Wiseman won it either.

Wiseman by a mile. Closed book that, I would have thought. :)

    I was thinking Wiseman too.

Because of the way he's turned his season around I think they'll vote for him.

I agree, and they showed great solidarity when he was having a bad run of form.

I think he will win it because he has been our best player this season

Wiseman deserves some recognition for the way he turned his season around. I would be chuffed for him if he did get it. Anyone's guess though considering who got it last year.

He's had his moments this season but since Hill was shown the door he has been our most consistent player.

I'm sure they don't take it seriously and just take the piss. Past winners include McNulty and Colace. Yeah, alright lads. I fully expect Mido to win it this year.

I've always rated wiseman, i said to my brother and mate against Wednesday he'd get players player of year this woman in front went crazy saying should trying to more then 3 games a year, i stuck up for him when people booed him on to the pitch at millwall, staying he was a decent play but made mistakes due to confidence i was lucky to get out alive when one or two others heard me say it

I've always defended him, not because I thought he was an amazing player, but because he got way too much more stick than he deserved. He showed glimpses of what he could do when we first signed him but lost his way a bit along with most of the team. It just shows the importance of confidence in how well they play. That's why I'd never boo a player or critisize a player if I thought they'd hear it.

I really don't get why people would write abusive messages directly to players on twitter. What are they hoping to achieve? You could say footballers ought to be thicker skinned but when you're low on confidence as it is and all you get is people branding you an awful player, your performances are going to suffer.
