After seven years of finishing in the bottom six, zero progression, the small time attitude of the "board" and having to put up with ****ers like Simon Davey and Keith Hill, I've come to the decision that irrespective of which division we are in next year, I've come to the realisation that I'm fed up with it all. If we do stay up it will be a continuation of the previous seven seasons and if we go down we will be told that we have found our level and we should just accept it. #barnsleyfcfatigue .
Re: Conan has spoken I know what it's not for- attention seeking. If you're "bored of Barnsley FC" go and support Man United so you get to win all the time and let us support Barnsley FC. If you're thinking of taking an attitude like that to the game Saturday don't bother coming. We don't need it.
Re: Conan has spoken That's less of an opinion and more of a "**** it I am taking my bat home" kind of post though. You could have balanced it out with some of the "why" (i.e. we have no budget to compete) and maybe even some of the "how" (...they can keep fans like yourself passionate about watching BFC). Simply saying you're not interested choose what league we're in will only ever result in a pillocking
Re: Conan has spoken For some reason I'm never able to reply to Site Admin posts. Maybe bored was the wrong word. Completely ****ing jaded with it all might have been more accurate. I never actually said I wasn't interested.
Re: Conan has spoken I know where you're coming from to a certain extent, but we need to look at ways to increase our attraction to fans choose what league we're in and what budget we have. If you'd have said this in December I'd get it more, but we've just seen one of the best 4 months worth of football we've ever seen from BFC. It's not the time to start even thinking about throwing the towel in
I can see where he's coming from. If we stay up, what changes are there going to be off the field to improve things, get some extra cash into the club? We are set for a good profit aren't we? especially if we survive.
I can see where he's coming from as well. Expecting people to spend over 300 quid every year for an annual relegation battle, while our best players keep getting sold and we've not a pot to piss in and with bugger all happening off the field.
I'm afraid this is what we have been told since 1962 when i first went to watch them. I would roughly say that we have made 6 million quid in transfers in the last 12 month and we are still being told this
Yep. me too. Add in the fact that whatever league we're in next season, if anyone shines they'll be flogged off in January.
Totally get your point, Conan. Fed up. But like you, I'll be there regardless. Some strange replies in this thread. Ah well, each to theirs and all that.
