He probably doesn't want the inevitable questions about how he feels about sending an old club down. This maybe wishful thinking but perhaps he doesn't want such comments going on record out of respect for us / previous employers. He also wouldn't want to answer such questions with a 'no comment' answer or similar in fear of alienating Hudds fans - who incidentally will be desperate to send us down.
The word is that they would prefer Peterborough to go down but I am not sure why - I would have thougt that they would love to push us down as payback for the 2006 semi final.
So would I! It's funny that the hatred isn't quite the same with Huddersfield as it is with the Sheffield teams.
I have had texts from hudds fans saying they want to send us down for beating them in the playoff semi, and also we apparently played a weakened team against Portsmouth which relegated them on the final day som e time long ago
Robins is just like Bruce, they both think they will beat Barnsley. He was happy to talk to Barnsley press when he was at Barnsley. He should talk to all the press, they are like him ,making a living. Hope we stuff him on Saturday.
Playing the game, hoping to get us more wound up along with the powers that be. Always was a smart bloke.
I would have thought that was self evident......no matter how aggrieved he feels at his departure, and whatever issues he has with Rowing/Cryne,its both childish and disrespectful to the Chronicle.who I don't remember ever criticising him unfairly, and the fans of BFC who were pretty supportive of him while he was here, the words pram and teddy spring to mind..or does he just think he's Ferguson.
He was smart because he didn't want to work in the conditions Keith/Flicker have. Could've ruined his reputation. Luckily Keith and Flicker had the bottle.
Are you saying it didn't take some bottle to take on the club at the time Keith & Flitcroft did? Because I think it did - a massive challenge.
Tell cry baby Robins that you have a loan player he might be interested in. Give him 60 secs and he'll want to talk to you for sure.
