who can play for us tomorrow, in one of our most important games of recent years..
who do you choose, and why?

edit: they have to have played for Barnsley at some point, for any of you looking for any loop-holes in my post! ;)

A striker like him is what we are missing at the mo imho.

He would destroy them if we gave him the service.

Ricardo Vaz Te. He would have scored any important goal with the form he was in when he left us.

Reckon Neil Redfearn would be a good shout as well

Well, what we are really lacking and really needing tomorrow, is someone to stick the ball into the back of the net on a regular basis, so the best all round striker I have seen down at Oakwell is Ashley Ward, who hit his peak form during his time with us. The way that he was playing for us just before he left (and bear in mind who his last game was against!) he would be guaranteed at least a couple of goals tomorrow against a team in the lower reaches of the league. Unfortunately you can't look at our current strikers and say that. That's not to say one of them won't get a couple of goals tomorrow though, because we have three strikers who are all capable of it.

    Devaney.

I'm biased because I know him personally but I know he'd give it everything

Redfearn. Pride, passion, desire, leadership, set pieces. And the only player I've seen that would run off after the warm up, dripping sweat off the end of his nose. Perfect captain for a day like tomorrow.

If it's about scoring tomorrow a young lad from cuderth was half decent and we seem to forget about him as a red. I'd go for David Hirst in his prime. I'd love to see any championship defence deal with that lad. £200k then, priceless now.

Got to be Ronnie. Any other choice means you never saw him play.

    Tough question
Ashley Ward - if I'm right we never lost when he scored, good omen, and he was good

Jovo Bosancic - a good creater

Darren Barnard with that wand to get some crosses into the box (the quality of balls in the box is the only thing that is missing from our team)

Arjan De Zeeuw - Added assurance at the back

Heinz Muller - on the bench if Steeley gets injured

On reflection I think I will stick with the boys we will have representing us
