You reds! What a day , don't think I have celebrated a goal like Scotland's in a long time, hugging randoms, going mental. That's what it's all about.

Plenty more times like that to come under flicker. Surely to god the board will give him some reassurances about spending. There's the stones money which doesn't seem to have been accounted for and I am sure more season tickets will be sold this summer than last, there will definitely be one anyway.

If the board don't back him then we may as well call it a day because Flicker represents the best chance of progression this club had had in years. Agree about yesterday, it was a once in a lifetime game and will be part of Barnsley folklore when we talk about our 'greatest' away days in years to come.

I agree mate, if the board get this one wrong we're finished. Football is cyclical, especially for clubs like ours where a truly great side only comes around once every ten years or more. 1979-82, 1996-98, 2013? It's our time once again if we want it.

As for yesterday being once in a lifetime, I bloody well hope so! Never want to go through that again!

Ron Dowing just been on 5Live. Said something about being in the playoffs, at least and not struggling to avoid relegation

What was the context exactly? Did he sound coherent or panicked?

He said that we needed (paraphrase) to 'avoid being in a relegation fight which we have been a few times' and 'that the club would be looking do what it can to "push for the play offs at least" (last bit not a paraphrase. Im not sure that's exactly what he meant, maybe he was still tipsy after his brandy last night! But that's just my take on it. Flitcroft's name surprisingly didn't come up, it was more about the emotion of the day.

The club might be daft, but they aren't that stupid and Flitcroft while ambitious is realistic in what he can and will ask for in my view. It's a shame he didn't come earlier as im sure he'd have done a much better job with Cryne's money! (£1m on Hume!) FFS.

I was buzzing all afternoon and well into the night yesterday. Amazing day, truly amazing. Got up this morning and watched some of the videos again - and am filling up with emotion. Silly old git!

Been watching the Reds since the mid-sixties and yesterday's events will be put away with some of my favourite memories. It was a fitting finale to an excellent season (since the New Year) and Flicker is right - it was a team effort and we the fans can be proud of the part we played. The support has been building to a crescendo for weeks and it peaked yesterday. So very happy I was able to be part of it. Thankyou to all Barnsley supporters, truly brothers in a common cause. Amazing, brilliant and truly memorable!

I haven't had a season ticket for a few seasons but I may be investing in one for next season. COYR!
