Have to say it's no surprise to see Sir Bob up near the top as usual. But taking RNL aside (most of his apps were as a sub), the bottom two say a lot, despite Davies' goals. He was bloody hopeless for weeks, couldn't retain the ball which cost us numerous teams on the break. Matty Done went from potentially a star last season, to potentially a Rochdale player again this season.

But look at Dawson's ratio.... wow.

And as much as I rate TK, he's only top because he never really played under Hill.

Sir Bob, though. His legs had gone, he's too slow, can't play at RB or in defence full stop. Still a key player though. Again. He topped this ratio last season... and he hardly got a kick then, either.

    SIR BOB.

I think a table showing win % from the point Flicker took charge would be a better reflection.

    Statistically that's a useless table.

Don't blame me, blame whoever sent it to Tom Kennedy on twitter.

I found it useful. It helps me on my crusade to keep insisting Bobby Hassell is our best defender. Still.

I think you need to check your figures

I did the same thing the other day and Bobby came out at 107%

So what that tables saying is, Hassells better than Martin Craine and john Stones? one of which got a big move to Everton and the others played in the premier league and for the England u21's. Also he got the PPOTY award.

Kennedy's better than Golbourne, Etuhu better than mellis....

It's a list of players that were lucky enough to be in the team when barnsley started winning.

To argue that any player is 'better' than another player in this this squad is embarrassing. Every player in this squad has played a massive part in what we have achieved this season. Whilst Goldbourne had an outstanding season, Tom Kennedy came in and did just as good a job, just in a different style. Etuhu and Mellis aren't even the same type of player and their function for the team is completely different. In fact Mellis has looked twice the player since Etuhu took up his centre midfield role, allowing Mellis to do what he does best.

How you can say the players were 'lucky' to be in a team that started winning? The team started winning because of the players!! Every point we've picked up this season is down to the whole squad of players plus staff that were involved on that day and throughout the weeks training. You are a complete moron if you think otherwise.

It's not surprising the top 4 players only played under Flicker.

I rate Kennedy in the LCB role. He's very solid there, more so than at LB. I would be quite happy for him to retain his place there next season.

I'm quite surprised that Daggers played more games than anyone.

So from that I conclude that Sir Bob is a legend, and still a very good Championship player. Thanks YT.
