IMG_1173.jpg I've actually got a second hand kid. An unwanted gift, you might say. My best mate, though. He's not impressed with material stuff as you can see, doesn't care where it comes from or how much it costs.

If I ever have a new one it will be clean, quality second hand stuff all the way. There is far too much waste in the world and I wouldn't want to burden the innocent bairn with consumer pressure at such a young age. They don't turn out right. :D

If you're interested in a second hand one, we have this for sale shortly, pram and car seat travel system. We've loads of mamas and papas stuff for sale that's going on ebay if you're interested. Stargazer play gym, bath, Millie & Boris mobile etc.. Mrs best mate is an international buyer for Mamas and Papa's so we've been fortunate and we've also tested a lot of equipment for them that we've got to keep.

I love that boy to bits. He's not mine, but I would die right now for that kid and I don't care who knows it. The most beautiful and talented little man anyone could ever meet. And a heart of gold, like his Mam. His Dad left him, didn't want to know. That is so fcked up, but I'm glad he didn't want him. I've known him for 5 years. I'm not his Dad and he's not my son, but I wish we will be that one day for each other.

A bit confessional. I've had a little ale.

Paul, thats lovely, I hope your relationship with him and his mam goes on forever, I don't understand how anyone can walk away from their offspring and don't bother, tw4ts all of em. I have the greatest respect for anyone who steps into such a situation and gives their love and affection freely. On the dog front, I was walking on Poggy Road last night with the Goldie pup, and a little lad, about 4 years old, walking with his mam said, can I stroke your dog and followed up with, is it a Jack Russell, nearly choked trying not to laugh.

had a work colleague some years ago who didn't believe in using prams or pushchairs -- she carried the baby on her back all the time. She didn't believe in using nappies either - all went well until one day the said baby crapped on the floor in the middle of Tesco.
