Who would your top three (realistic) signings be for us this year?

If we take Chris O'Grady as a must, we can add Paddy Madden as another striker, plus a centre half or two (one experienced, one young and hungry) and maybe a right back. Paul McShane would definitely be worth a punt if he's deemed surplus to requirements as Hull, or Nyatanga.

I think you'd need to spend some serious money to prise Madden away from Yeovil, particularly if they come up. My mate reckons that there's a sizeable sell-on clause in his contract so they're not going to let him go cheaply.

New goalkeeper that is tall enough to command his own area............Steele to the bench

Tall commanding centre back................Shackell / Darren Moore type of player

    Right back............now Stones has gone

Left back.............cover for Golbourne; who is now one of the best left backs in the league

Attacking midfielder..............competition for Mellis (Butterfield on loan would be good)

Striker..........would be good if that is O'Grady

Striker..........prolific striker from the lower league..........guy from Yeovil if they dont go up

Seven players of decent quality should do the business..............top 6 here we come

Think a centre half, a winger and a young, fresh striker. We seem to lack abit of pace up top. But it's tough to get players like that for the kind of budget we are working with!

O'Grady, Stephen Hunt, commanding centre half ie Liera, Roger Johnson or Sean St Leger.

Kevin McNaughton from Cardiff would be a cracking signing

Chris O'Grady - Wednesday do not want him, he's been outstanding for us and he lives around the area. No brainer.

Paul McShane/Gabriel Zakuani - a strong centre back is much needed after Foster's departure, and McNulty is not good enough at this level.

Striker from League One/Two (Paddy Madden, Clayton Donaldson, Nakhi (sp?) Wells, etc.) - best to look at another striker, one that has done well in the lower league. I'd be pleased if we signed one of those three.

Zakuani is a great shout, just the type of player we need!

Cogba, Adam Hammill and a big centre back would do me fine.

If any more come in, then that would be a bonus :)

Not sure about Tudgay any more, but Batth would be a good signing. Out of contract too (although I think they'd be due compensation).
