Reason I'm sticking with £300K, is that SWFC paid this amount for him and don't want him, or rate him.

Couple this with his previous goals per game ratio, he is not that prolific.......until he joined BFC when he gets 6 in 16.

These are the negotiation points I would be using if I was BFC.

I actually think COG is BRILLIANT.....I'm just putting myself in the position of BFC.

the pigs paid NOTHING like £300k for COG they paid £100k only so i believe £300k is fair price for him as he is suited to our team and our work ethic?

All the reports are that the fee was around £350,000. This may have included add ons though. I wouldn't be surprised if Rochdale get a sell on fee if we sign him.

I'd pay anything up to £750,000 for him. He's vital to the way we play and I don't think we'd be able to bring anyone else in anywhere near as good as him. I find saying that you wouldn't pay anymore than £300,000 for him ridiculous. For a target man his goals per ratio is very good, usually it's the second striker that reaps the rewards but he's also shown that he's got a lot more to his game. Plenty of skill and pace.

We should obviously attempt to get him for as lower price as possible but saying that you wouldn't pay more because Wednesday don't rate him doesn't make sense to me. He's worth as much as we value him at, not what they value him at since we're the club paying for him. If Wednesday said that they won't let him go for any less than £350,000, you wouldn't take it? Madness, especially considering the price some players go for, look at Rhodes.
