Could end up in the MLS. Looking at a few of his past managers and they're all in America. He is the type of player who would succeed and would do well there.
He was certainly a better player when at Swansea than when he was with us (much stronger) but even on making the assumption that he's still of that quality I wouldn't say he's any better than our current options (assuming those offered contracts sign them). We can do better.
What's with the obsession of wanting ex players back at the club? Chopra, McShane, Nyatanga, Hammill, Butterfield, Stones and now Fallon!
I remember all the reds fans giving him stick away at Swindon years ago, sarcastically singing "Rory, Rory, Ra Ra Ra." I think I must have had his Dad sat in front of me, he kept chuntering about how we all knew nowt and he's the best striker we've had. Rory eventually snapped and flagged us off but the ref clocked it and booked him. Lovely stuff.
Or the time he was substituted and and went and sat in the wrong subs bench, was he playing for Plymouth at the time?
