Wayne Rooney annoyed Fergie with his " habit of smoking". I have witnessed Johnny Parkin smoking in the past, and on Sunday met Clarke Carlisle and he was having a ***. Has anyone on here any idea how prevalent this habit is?
Jonny Parkin smoked like a chimney, he once made up a four ball with me and 2 mates at Staincross, he had a *** every hole and a gallon in tbe club house after. The next day he was live on Sky playing for Stoke and won man of the match
Used to go to Royale's a lot in Manchester mid 90's and Lee Sharpe was always in smashed out of his head and he always had a *** in his mouth (when he wasn't gurning).
The ex Chelsea player who scored that cracker against us in the premier league (Vialli) is a smoker and as I recall he was a smoker as a player too. Doesn't big Phil smoke too?
This topic's come up before and it always make me think, surely not. Maybe they might smoke once a week or even once a month but i don't think many footballers will smoke daily. They really shouldn't at all but i'm not going to say much about smoking because i don't know anything about it. The top players have Blood test fitnesses tests and they are expected to reach high levels.
That Croatian lad who scored hat trick against us a few years ago for Portsmouth smokes a ton a day. Prosinecki or summet. Vialli smoked on the touch line as well. Vicente Del Bosque enjoys a cigar on the touch line or did before it was banned.
Premier league players smoke. They bribe the doctors to fix their fitness tests with duty free fags and booze they bring back from their failed champion's league campaigns. It's well known. And BFC players smoke, they hand out fags to the academy lads even the ones not old enough. It's rife in the game. Like beta blockers in snooker!!
Didn't Danny Rose get the cane off flicker the other day for having cigs in his pockets? Them big lads obrien & kennedy made him look after them for them.
