There would be white people local to the area it happened in all over the TV & Radio condemning the actions of the perpetrator, have we heard anything from the Muslim community yet ?
Fantastic point .100% correct. Problem are too scared to say how they feel . Political correctness gone mad
Is the mainstream media interested in showing that side of things or are the more interested in the reactionary shocking footage of TWO men shouting religious things whilst commiting evil acts? There are lots of muslims disgusted with the attacks on twitter and facebook.
A fantastic point it is not. And here's why: 1. "White" is not a religion. He's comparing a religion to a skin colour. 2. Yes, they have come out and condemned it: "Mohammed Shafiq, the head of the Ramadhan Foundation has also criticised the murder of a man in Woolwich by men invoking the name of Allah. "I wish to condemn the evil and barbaric crime carried out today in Woolwich. Our immediate thoughts are with the family and friends of the victims. From whatever angle you see today's attack it was at every level evil. We must allow the police to gather all the facts before unnecessary speculation and wait for the facts before determining its impact on our country. But what happens in the days to come, London and our nation will come together and will not be divided. The terrorists will never win and succeed in their evil plans. But tonight we think of the family of that soldier killed."
100% incorrect actually as muslims have slated the attack. I wish to condemn the evil and barbaric crime carried out today in Woolwich. But tonight we think of the family of that soldier killed.- the head of the ramadam foundation The cold blooded killing of a serving British soldier is a crime that sickens every member of every community in the UK. For the peace of our communities to be shattered like this is almost unthinkable. We must come together, isolate those who believe that extremism and violence are acceptable, and work to ensure that they meet the full force of the law. We as the Muslim community will work against anyone who promotes such hatred. Our armed forces deserve respect for putting their lives on the line, irrespective of what we think about the political decisions that put their lives in harm’s way. Their blood is indeed our treasure which we must always protect, just as they protect us. - director of faith matters (he's muslim)
This shows an absolute lack of respect for that poor man and his family, as well as a lack of compassion and thought.
He's made these ridiculous statements on another football forum I read too. Suffice to say he's been made to look like a prat on there as well!
The Muslim Council of Britain has condemned the Woolwich attack. "This is a truly barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this unreservedly," its statement said. The Muslim Council of Britain's statement continued: "Our thoughts are with the victim and his family. We understand the victim is a serving member of the Armed Forces. Muslims have long served in this country's Armed Forces, proudly and with honour. This attack on a member of the Armed Forces is dishonourable, and no cause justifies this murder."
Actually, those with a voice in the Muslim community have come out very quick to condemn this, what more would you like?
i did not know that that's why i asked, i don't have twitter and all the ***** and ive not seen anyone on the news sites so i ask on here, that alright wi thi ?
I have seen/read/heard people from the Muslim communities condemn the actions, yes. But in the main, I've seen the EDL saying they are going to march on Woolwich in the name of the deceased. That's The EDL. Racists, thugs, cnuts. I'm pretty sure the deceased would want no such march in his name.
Aye, oreight. You know full well what you posted, and it wasn't merely the harmless question you now seem desperate to infer. Read your first post again. The ignorance in it shows you're out of your depth if anything.
Or my word, now you've brought that lot up, did anyone see them in the Leeds train station before and after the Huddersfield game the other week ?
