Re: agree a lot with you ...however

I don't think there will be much for these two to reveal. They were just tools for someone else's hate. They were got to at the age where the are full of energy and fight, but still massively impressionable. I suspect the ones pulling their strings are well out of it.

I don't go for this eye for an eye either. What will that solve? Those young lives need turning around and putting to some good, even if it's done from a lifetime in prison. Otherwise that poor kid died for nowt.

Didn't God tell Blair to invade Iraq?

I have no idea how reputable The Telegraph is, but here you go.

I find it really worrying that someone in Blair's position is such a religious zealot, and George W. Bush probably wasn't any better.
But I guess that it's all okay because it's "our God" who tells us to do such things...

Of course it was. But the point about foreign policy is legit.

We invaded these Muslim nations, for dubious reasons, obliterated their cities, murdered innocent civilians on a mass level, and these nations are no better off and neither are we. Certainly no better off, are the 700+ servicemen KIA. Or their families.

Since then, we've had the 7/7 bombings, and now this. Not to mention numerous other failed terrorist plots.

So in my humble opinion, it's this government (and it's allies) foreign policy that has caused this. Along with a failed immigration policy to boot. That's a bad mix.

    Play with fire etc.

Yep. God told both of them to do it. So they claimed.

Got to say on the flipside although the justification for war was completely falsified these countries were completly screwed and in desperate need of help from more developed nations. Im pretty sure if you had lived under an era lead by osama and saddam you would crave help however it came.

Sorry mate but for a change I completely disagree with you. The reasons I don't agree are stated in other posts and I am tired so I can't be arsed to go over them again but I will summarise by saying that Muslims regularly kill a lot of Muslims in the name of Allah / Islam in these countries (some of them in equally barbaric ways) and they can't blame this on foreign policy. Maybe we're not perfect, far from it, and maybe other parts of the world do view us in a less than positive light but there is never any excuse for the barbaric scenes we witnessed yesterday or other such barbaric executions that are freely available on the internet. It is my opinion that these nutters primary objective is to force us all to change our way of life and force their will and their warped view of Islam and Sharia law on us. This is their primary motivation.

Yes your bang on their whitey.
And foreign policy isn't just about what's recently happened in their country the yanks and other western powers us included have shafted these people for years whilst we have pilfered their wealth and resources aided by military regimes armed by the west.
We are reaping the consequences of the rich investors that thought nothing of the people of the countries they were pilfering from or the people they were exploiting only how they could line their pockets and avoid the consequences.
