Seriously, which brand of lozenge or whatever? I'm training conservation students tomorrow and can hardly speak, had it for days now and I'm fed up.
Are those over the counter? I'm just off to the little shop near me, so will see. Also, I hear ice cream is good for a sore throat? Please say yes.... anybody.
practical and healthy suggestion = Frozen grapes (obvious practical limitations) or 200g of Lion midget gems........ having said that they would also be my cure of preference for a variety of ailments. Hope you feel better soon.
Ice cream must be good...our lass screams her feckin head off at me, constantly...and she eats gallons of the stuff.
Warm water and salt gargles Rest Fluids (warm) to wash away bacteria No smoking No alcohol or spicy food Ibuprofen
From a pharmacy the best thing is a chloraseptic anaesthetic throat spray, it contains local anaesthetic so relieves pain as soon as you spray it on your throat. Tyrozets are also good as they numb the throat too. I always have both in just incase
A GP once told me to gargle with a dissolved aspirin solution, worked for me, though took a couple of days.
I'm caning the strepsils and have an emergency tub of Haagen Dazs. Just posted you grand prize by the way, do you know what it is?
