maybe its a 1 year contract with a 2 year option if he can learn to kick straight. ;)

Still cant believe he hasn't got that poor kicking out of his game. Must have his boots on the wrong feet.

    I rate Luke

Would like him to stay and will be sad if he leaves. Were he to depart, I'd thank him for his services and wish him all the best in his future career.

If after five years with us he's been offered only a one year deal on reduced terms it's ****ing disgraceful when ***** like McNumpty have even been offered two year deals.

Find me a goalkeeper who doesn't make mistakes. Joe Hart made as many if not more than Steele this season from my memory...

If you're suggesting Steele is anything other than a great shot stopper then you've reached a new high in terms of mentalness.

Did I refer to his kicking or ability on crosses? Apologies if I didn't make it clear, but what I meant was that if you are criticising his shot stopping then you are absolutely mental. Proper, proper mental.

    I'm not.

he's normally a very good shot stopper and seems a good guy to have on camera.

Then why did you say "Sorry but Hart can catch and punch and shot stop."?

because he can. Hart also commands respect on the pitch with the way he act's like his former team mate kasper schmeichel.

Steeles a shot stopper. Punching. Okay, was very bad when Madine took him out. Seemed to have knocked his confidence.

    Kicking i'm sorry.

Would be sad to see Luke go, but in all honesty if I could choose, I would rather have Cranie sign a new ccontract with us as I feel he won't be as easy to replace.

Steele is a very good seasoned Championship goalkeeper, fantastic shot stopper. However he does have his faults including his distribution and he isn't as commanding as a keeper should be.
However he has been a great servant to the club.

    Re: I rate Luke

so do i - twice the keeper alnwick is. Trouble is i think his wage doesn't align with the median and if he wants to stay that will have to change. So the balls in his court - does he want to go a possibly play second fiddle or be our NUmber 1 and earn a bit less cash?

Agreed he may have only been offered one year as he is the highest earner and someone we couldn't afford to keep if we went down.

You normally have a different opinion of Hart, jelly hands was it you call him? Can't take you serious, your opinion is riddled with contradiction. You change your mind to suit whatever petty argument you are wanting that particular day. Sad, very sad.
