Im hoping this is a sarcastic post? Its been proved by many whove attended those meetings that he talks out of his rectum and gets proven wrong by facts. There a total smoke screen and a waste of time, i wish hed pull his finger out and be productive sorting oakwell out. The devil is in the detail Donald.

You tell me. My response was to ST, when he said he'd like to ask Don "where the **** the money keeps disappearing". Thing is you can ask Don such things. You might not get the direct answer you are after, but the opportunity is there. He was asked outright at the last meeting and he gave a rough figure where he thought the club would be at the end of the tax year. There's not as much in the kitty as most people think, but it is quite easy to see whre money was spent and it did keep us up believe me! If you don't go, you don't know. Thing is, too many hot heads on here who are a bit internet giddy, have shot their mouths off too offensively and too often about Don Rowing, they wouldn't dare set foot anywhere near his office, let alone politely ask a reasonable question about the club they support.

At the end of the day when your at the head of a multi million pound business, paid a good salary your the guy whos going to get the stick and have to answer the hard questions. If he cant take a few people having a pop (unnecessary it is) then he ought to get out. People dishing out constructive critisim is fair enough, at the end of the day hes the figurehead so hes going to get flak.

In reality its all lovely and stuff that hes willing to answer these questions but lets not pretend we're all so naive that hes telling the truth, he clearly isnt and id agree with him not as it would be terrible business practice. What is worse however is answering questions with lies that come out at a later date showing that he is passing off false information as the truth. This is surely only going to disillusion supporters in the long run, although it may pacify a few in the short term.

My distorted view is that the board is to blame for a lot of things not don however hes half of it. The club needs some young blood in to at the worst freshen it up.

Re your answer to ST its a daft question to begin with i agree with you on that as none of us will know exactly what its being used on. Its the same with contract speculation etc the only people in the know are the people directly involved.

If you dont go you dont know, id you do go you dont know but you get told you know.

Everyone talks abut these lies Don tells, but no-one says exactly what they are or backs it up with direct evidence.

I'll leave it there. I do agree the club needs new blood and a new structure, that will only come with a takeover. A takeover will only come with a transparent debt free profile. I'm sure I don't have to explain that is has been quite some achievement to accomplish that and stay in the Championship. Don appeared to adequately answer the question that Supertyke desperately wants answering, but he wasn't there alas.

Fair play but all ill say is release clauses and budgets and leave it there.

Indeed it is miraculous that we stay up on our budget but in truth i dont really attribute much to don there i give that to the players and management, however fair play he does deserve some applause. The part which isnt praise worthy though is the small details which constantly get missed and reflect awfully, so much could be so much better without too much effort. Shame.

Well said sack. Think you have it spot on there. And like supertyke above I often wonder where the money goes if their statements are to be believed. It just doesn't add up.
