It's been about for a week or so now, very backwards step in my opinion. Bags of potential, but very rarely shows it.
We need some pace. A mate watched the Huddersfield game and said we looked the slowest team he'd ever seen. He'd fit in better with this more direct style Flitcroft had us laiking.
Slowest team ???............and Etuthu and Wiseman were playing thi mate might have a point with regard to the strikers but the rest of the team are quick and some are very quick
Rather us not bring back the journeyman who can't settle anywhere. He's played under so many managers for someone still young and not all of them can be wrong to have moved him on.
Lets get in Sean St Ledger...... http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/st-ledger-open-to-offers-29302216.html
I can understand The desire & need to bring in a pacey striker. It'd certainly give David Flitcroft other options he can utilise up front. I'd be surprised if that player were to be Danny Haynes, though.
Pace and can finish! For the right money I'd trust flitcroft to get him into the right frame of mind and playing well.
I thought there had been a huge bust up with Haynes and someone's family after a game? Hill maybe? If there's any truth in that I can't imagine flitcroft going anywhere near him
Re: I can understand Flicker will be looking for those that are team players, so I think you can definitely count him out.
He fell out big time with Hill and I can't see Flitcroft being any more positive about playing him regularly. Great potential, but never fully achieved and seemed to throw toys out of pram when not in the starting line-up. Probably same at Charlton, which may be why they are not retaining him.
