wouldn't he be a good signing at Champ level?

He's made mistakes at Premier level but a lot of teams have wanted him so he must have talent and he could come down a level and really look good.

Brighton, Cardiff, watford even have built squads on these types of players.

No, not in my opinion anyway. I think he has lived a charmed life in terms of contracts and all based on when he was a young player. But I trust Flicker so if he thinks he is good enough then that is all that matters.

Strikes me as the kind of guy who can have half a dozen blinders, then a nightmare. And we're historically not very good at dealing with players who have the odd nightmare. I'll go with Flicker's judgment tough..

He's the worst defender I've ever seen, and I've seen a video of myself trying to defend.

I think he's had more sexual assault charges against him than clean sheets he's helped keep as a pro footballer.

As a player I think he'd be fantastic in this league. He makes more than his fair share of mistakes at Premier League level, but so would just about any player we've had since I've been watching Barnsley if they were playing at that level week in, week out. Seriously doubt we could afford his wages though.

His reputation as a human being, however, is very suspect.

I remember Darren Moore making a lot of mistakes for Derby in the premier league. He didn't turn out to be too bad for us though.
