    its known that Deer culling is in fact needed , as natural selection does not work seems Man the wise fecked up the environment that would keep levels right. Mankind ... the worst infestation a planet could ever have.

    now that's different, however the need for culling deer is apparently proven. Shame they did not cull humans too.

    Deers are becoming a nuisance and the population is out of control. They also prevent afforestation as they destroy saplings. However, there is one simple solution. I wonder if someone can tell me what it is?? I think S.M would be the besy person to answer that.

    Wildlife needs protecting not culling:mad:

    An internet acquaintance was threatened with prosecution last year for "Disturbing a badger sett". I'm sure this was due to them being a protected species:confused:

    His crime was taking photos of the sett. He had been very careful to never disturb the animals, worked with the correct equipment, only did it at certain times of year etc. In otherwords he had researched the rights and wrongs and knew what he was doing.

    He was only reported after he got a local farmer arrested and charged for deliberately running over a badger. Now .....I wonder who reported him:rolleyes:

    Final point.....if they are a protected species how can the laws allow blowing their brains out with badger seeking missiles ?

    Signed up a few months ago with May we don't half pamper to farmers. They should vaccinate the Badgers not kill them. Badgers can smell food well below the ground. A new vaccine is mixed with syrup cake and buried near their setts. They dig it up and eat it, hey presto, vaccinated. Dogs etc will not dig it up when buried deep. Poultry farmers get away with not vaccinating against paramxo virus. Other people like pigeon fanciers are compelled to vaccinate. I am afraid that when you provide for the table you can get away with murder and Badgers are the latest to be eliminated.
