http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3l5_Bv3GpU now this is the noise a 1000 fans can make, lets hear something like it next season and show the scum down the road who REALLY are YORKSHIRE Number 1. this was the second attempt for tenerife to get promoted from the 3rd level of Spanish Footy (equivalent of our League 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3l5_Bv3GpU (goals highlights with spanish commentary)
We were in Tenerife when they got promoted a few years ago, the noise that night was unreal, fireworks car horns all night long
Anyone lights a flare or firework near me then they better bring along a Ventouse device or some forceps so they can extract it from their arse.
People holding large flares in their hands, and people behind them throwing paper tassles!!! Someone could so easily have got burned. Recipe for disaster.
i didnt say bring flares and stuff basically the atmosphere raised by just about a 1000 blanquizule fans (tenerife fans) is awesome and something that until the latter end of this season as seriously lacked at oakwell and it is something that needs to happen NOISE WISE next season, bring the flags the horns even drums lets raise the roof and make oakwell aplace to fear once again
Never happen at Oakwell, I've know people come on here and complain at people standing up and singing at some away matches.
Wahey! Been following Tenerife's results all season after me and the Mrs went there last summer. Great place
i went to tenerife game in november 2012 against celta vigo b, was an amazing atmosphere only 9000 there but you would have thought double that, if you go tenerife again i advise you to attend a game they play santa cruz and have a mad crazy fan base i went with the armada sur run by a guy called chris todd also runs the supporters shop at playa fanabe http://www.tenerifeforum.org/tenerife-forum/forumdisplay.php?19-CD-Tenerife
bring it on andy cat lol next season gonna be a good one i can sense it pity some are still doom n gloom
ill remember to bring my black armband next season and sit there nice and quiet and behave myself for a change (NOT), people say theres no atmosphere at games thats true to a point, now we have just been through the most exciting 5 month for a long time, the don as gone and we have 2 decent names on the board now with a hell of a lot of experience they have obviously been brought into help increase revenue and get more people back to football so why not give it a go if you dont try you never know
If people pay for a seat then surely they should be sat down. Some people are not able to stand up for long and what about kids ? I tell people to sit down sometimes but not for my benefit ,its usually because of elderly people etc that won't be able to see. Answer this - if your old man had been watching reds for 50 years and had a problem with his legs, would you tell people to sit down in front of him or would you just accept he's not going to be able to see the game ?
The Armanda Sur that Chris runs is the international fan club of CD Tenerife. They have around 25% of expats for the away support.
I'm actually for flares at football matches, I think they're a good way to get the atmosphere going. They need to be in the right hands though, it could very easily go wrong.
Yep, why not? I've been in a few crowds with flares involved and it's good fun. But the danger certainly outweighs the entertainment.
