    I rather be English and have a **** team, then be German and have a decent side! That the trouble with this contry no pride! Makes me sick btw my grandad and all the other soilders that died for **** all!

    We looked awful. However, considering most countries have their full strength team there, let's look at who wo COULD and probably SHOULD have been able to field...

    Butland

    K Walker
    P Jones
    S Caulker
    L Shaw

    W Zaha
    J Wilshere
    J Henderson
    A Oxlade Chamberlain

    D Welbeck
    C Wickham

    Now I know some were injured and some were picked for the Brazil friendly. But if you compare our best Under 21 players with Italy's for example, I'd back ours to win. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, we seldom go to these tournaments with a full strength side.
