On the balance sheet, all the players are assets. Some appreciate as they play more and mature (Stones), others depreciate and leave for a pittance (Mido for example).

If you think RNL will be a multi million pound player then you are properly bonkers.

Right now, if they were all on 2 year contracts Digby and RNL would not be worth as much as Steele. They might be one day, but now? Not even close.

Don't get me wrong I know every player is an asset & has a value just those are the ones where by I feel we'd get a decent fee for them

'scuse me...not players who are produced by the club. They're not shown as assets.

Transfer fees paid are shown and written off over the period of the contract.

Aren't they all liabilities, as we are contracted to pay their wages?

Any player rich in form is an asset also a team in form makes average players value grow.

    possible GO.

    my markers Stones.
Now they are the two i would expect to go on and be big deals now. Rose and Clark are quite capable too.

I don't know enough or seen enough of Digby but l feel RNL is playing at his peak level, he's not developing at the rate of Stones.

A Chesterfield fan told me Clark didn't even impress for them & couldn't get a regular game so I'm struggling to see him making us a lot of money
