I couldn't disagree with you more. I think Luke Steele is a fantastic goalkeeper at this level and we're very lucky to have him. I just can't believe that we're considering letting him go. We've had some brilliant 'keepers in my time watching Barnsley, Clive Baker, David Watson, Heinz Muller, and in my opinion Luke is up there with the best of them. I think we should be doing all we can to secure him on a long term contract.

Think little lamb will be in bed now as he has to get his rest before an 11 hour Sky Sports One athon tomorrow (cricket and under 21s) despite there being glorious sunshine all day and 25 degree heat forecast.

He's a goalkeeper and he should know the results of such a stupid action.

If a keeper commits a foul inside the box its a penalty. To deliberately headbutt someone compounds the offence by reducing your team by one, as a sending off is inevitable.

And I would say his offence was one of the worst I saw from a Barnsley player last year. In his first competitive game, in the last minute with his team winning, he risks it all for a stupid piece of retaliation.

He has a long way to go to gain the respect and trust of Barnsley fans again.

I'd like to thank Ben Alnwick for his headbutt, it was a routine 2-1 win until he decided to do that... Extra time was bloody amazing, Bobby Hassell in goal, Daggers scoring an absolute peach of a goal. And our fans were bloody immense that day.

Seriously? You are defending a player who headbutted another. I don't care whether it was going to hurt the other player or not....it's a completely rash and needless red card. I can accept red cards for rash challenges on the edge of the box trying to get the ball, I cannot accept such stupidity as headbutting a player when you have the ball in your hands.
