    Agree.

He's worth some cash considering the way fans relate to him along with his PR and experience. But we don't know what he's doing been offered.

In an ideal world they would be on the same as him, you can not begrudge one person doing better than others because the economic goal posts have been shifted in between them all signing contracts. I said earlier, Bobby would have been expecting a substantially lower offer but 70% is an insult.

I do not expect you to understand. Your concept of football structure and financing is radically different to mine.

While I have every sympathy with you for being made redundant, and I do, genuinely, just as I have with everyone who has had to go through that, would you have stayed with the company if they had said you could keep your job with a 70% pay reduction?

It's not that black and white Phil but you just don't seem to get it and that is simply because you don't like him.

Your right Mario i don't get it. Some people on here think so different to me about players contracts.

Value of player, how much will the player offer to the team in terms of time on the pitch are two main ones for me.

Did I say he told me how much he earns? All I said was that Chester was wrong . Oh and Chester is in Aberdeen, no where near Mansfield or Barnsley!!

Did I say how much it was ?
Was it me who said the figures?
    Nah didn`t think so !!

So you believe that Luke Steele should be the clubs highest earner then as he is far more likely to be an ever present next season than anyone else is

I would agree with you entirely if we were talking about a player who wasn't good enough at this level and who had very little championship experience but we're not, we're talking about Bobby (and Luke) who have years of experience at this level. Furthermore both have been outstanding over long periods, both have won POTY awards, both are still good enough and one of them is only going to get better over the next couple of years.

Suppose that depends on whether someone was prepared to pay you more than 30% of what you're currently on

Then he will have the time to get a different job like the rest of us.

BTW I don't begrudge Bobby anything he has made from the game, I feel he is a model professional but if he's been financially astute he should be financially comfortable.
