Price increase in replica shirts

    I know it's only £2.50 but £40 is more than enough for a football shirt in the first place.

    Has the club come out and justified this?

    I'm pretty sure if the club wanted to they could put their foot down and keep the price at £40.

    Irrespective of the price increase, I had all intentions of getting one this season but it just looks so plain! I'm not sure I can justify it :/

    nike think that the little tick on the shirt is good enough to justify the price regardless of how good or bad the shirt looks

    the only thing i own with a swoosh thing on are a pair of shin pads. Beacuse i got them free. Believe it or not with a pair of Addidas footie boots

    Adidas World Cup I used to prefer. Although at the end of my playing days I had moved on to Umbro Speciali.

    I thought Nike paid the club a fee and then Nike get 100% of sales. Sure Don said that sales were down so actually the club had made a better profit through the arrangement. This will be Nike's way of trying to make up their loss.

    We outsourced to Just Sport. They buy all the gear from Nike like any business can and put our logo on. Done.

    It's everything to do with the club as it was the club who signed the contract allowing the price increase.

    Don't be fecking daft. They've signed the whole lot over to those Nike masqueraders and the club now have no/little influence on pricing or what they sell. They can do what they want.

    I'm fairly sure we won't let this continue when the contract is up. I wouldn't anyway, total **** up IMHO
