Just to save any unpleasantness later . . . . . . can people who consider the League Cup to be a waste of time rule themselves out of wanting Wembley tickets right now?
I hope your tongue was firmly in your cheek when you said that. Don't think Swansea fan thought it a joke competition when they made the trip to Wembley.
It couldn't have been better. L2 side at home. It's not like we could've got a 'big draw'. Suppose it can really only go wrong.
not at all, I've said it before I'll say it again, until the structure of the competition is change the football league will never get another penny out of me, seeded teams, two championship teams avoiding the first round, 4 premier league teams avoiding the next round, two leg semis, its as corrupt as you can get
I don't get it, it's a chance to watch BFC play and get out of the house. I'm kicking my heels all summer (apart from the cricket and the Lions rugby), itching to watch some footy and to be honest, I'd watch them play the blind school.
shame it cant be played the saturday before the season starts like last season, could draw a few more in, think we have a massive friendly with L1 wolves instead
OK yeah its not like the all in draw which used to happen years ago but you have what you have so you might as well get on with it. My only gripe would be the likes of Arsenal putting reserve teams out to compete. To me that is disrespectful. I must say that was quite a sweeping statement you made about not paying any more into the competition as it stands. Could I be so bold as to ask for your Wembley ticket should we reach the final?
I think its brill, my cousins partner/hubby is on the board at scunny so I might just drop for an invite into the boardroom.................... tenner in the jedis pocket
Oh you're a hard man. I know you have your reasons but the rules are the same for all clubs. I find it hard to believe that you can sit in the house/pub when your team are playing an important cup game just up the road. FFS Barnsley v S****horpe or Coronation Street. I certainly know where I would be.
