    Exactly. Dale was also impressed with how 'hench' Flicker looked wearing a body warmer, and thought that Dave Jones and Mark Robins would look ridiculous wearing one. It is just a prediction, but i think we are going to beat the majority of clubs to potential recruits unless their managers become more 'chic'.

    Weird how they seem to be waiting for the O'Grady deal to go through before they can start their transfer dealings (that's the impression given by Mandaric in the Star).

    He can't be costing us that much, they must really be struggling.

    i think i'll stay out of this one, for now. we're on thin ice. in their defence, they DO get significantly bigger attendances than us, they HAVE won more than us historically, they DID finish above us last season and they DID do the double on us. to be fair i don't think we have much ammo against that just now - other than raw dislike of a local rival.

    They lost 5 million in the last tax year.

    Mandrake stated they lose the same every season since he took control.

    They've offered a number of players reduced terms to resign for them something that isn't widely broadcast as the players don't have a gobshite journalist stirring things up.

    Freebies and loans next season for them.

    They don't have 250k for Jennings

    I think the good ship Mandaric has run aground & the only signings they will make will be loans & free transfers.

    Ahh but the Fritzl's claim he's only messing when he says that, makes other clubs think they don't have nowt or summat..

    Deluded isn't strong enough, they still think it's 1994ish, semi's of the cup and a 1 trophy in 70 odd years..

    I really don't understand why they believe they're so great. If it wasn't for expensive loan signings, Olofinjana, Holden & Lita they'd be in League 1, they play terrible football to watch & are losing £5m a year.

    Like a few of you above say, deluded!

    Looks like a season of long balls up to Davies, Madine & the Croat they were linked with. Happy days
