I would say the majority of the confederations squad will be in Brazil next year.

Japan are streets ahead of Italy in terms of speed of thought, movement and technique.

Not bad for a country that only really started taking football serious 20 years ago.

They have a lot of good aged players. Often Experienced means OLD and old isn't good when it's 74% humidity like they said it was in that stadium. Not seen a lot of Japan but they must be a good team to qualify first out of the Asian world cup groups.

I challenge you to find one single post where I have had a go at England cricket or rugby. As for tennis, do we even have an English player? I only have a go at the English football team because all I have ever know is disappointment and after watching them since the seventies it wears thin.
The best England teams I have seen were the 82 side and the 90 side and you always slaughter the best player this country has ever produced when we talk about him.

Sometimes things don't happen. That's what happens to the football team. It happened to the SA cricket team today. You need a bit of luck in the big games. England got it, SA didn't. Under edge went to Wicket keeper. Small margins.

Like I said you won't find one post where I have had a go at the England cricket team. When you say sometimes things dont happen, you should remember that we have won jackshit since 1966 in football so sometimes seems to be fairly frequent.
It was not really luck today Phil, SA's top order couldn't deal with our bowling attack, we were just too good for them. In cricket we are the best test team in the world and I think we're about to become the best ODI team in the world.

 

Firstly you've mentioned players there i haven't heard of before.
Unlike you i don't watch a massive amount of Italian football. English football Spanish and a bit of Portuguese football. Started to watch a bit more French too and i think they'll grow next season.

 

but people do criticise more over here i think. It's a reason i like to listen to people from different counties talk about English players. They are far more open.

owen farrell, Wayne Rooney, Jonathan Trott. All Class players but all get a lot of stick from English Fans.
We are lucky in England. We've got a lot of good sportsmen and women.
If you take it on to Britain level. Murrey, Class tennis player but he got stick for so long because he was facing Nadal Feder and Djokovic. In another Era he would have had multiple slams for sure.

Japan have been incredibly unlucky to go 4-3 down. They've completely bossed Italy this second half, some of the football they've played has been breathtaking. Quick, precise passing to feet and great movement. It's a shame it looks as if they'll get knocked out.
