    Don said that the retained ones have till Sunday. It was also said we would be making a signing tomorrow. Therefore my logic says its a new face, Higdon ? perhaps. But I still cry out for some more central defence.

    Don said he hadn't heard off Higdon though.
    I hope it's a defender personally.
    With Daggers and COG as main strikers and Jason and Rose to bring on I don't think we need any more.
    Also we have a huge choice of midfielders now.
    Defence is the only area I feel we are lacking - and possibly goalkeeper if Luke leaves.

    Don't get too excited. Don has already said the Higdon deal is dead. If Cranie and Bobby sign up tomorrow and Luke and Tompole next week (as I expect and hope) that will be a result. I would think any new faces will come completely out the blue, which seems to be the new way of doing things round these parts. and a pleasant surprise or two may well be on the way.

    That sounds like I know something, but I don't.... or do I?? Errrm, no I don't....

    nothing would occur with them till next week. That's why I am hoping its a totally NEW signing.
