weve already sold more NEW season tickets than last season according to box office so with the renewals on top we should easily beat last season.
i'm really hoping for a c12k crowd on the opening day. can't see wigan bringing any more than around 1000. we'll see
but have ALL the old uns renewed that's the question. I think it will be a better attendance overall next season, but not by a lot. 1k - 1.5k at the most
Never dropping below 10k crowds would be a good start, all depends on performances on the pitch though.
Wigan will fetch 2-3000 and be their biggest following of the season. 15000 there on 3 August. Average 11k
We might have a tiny increase on STs sold like 500 or so. But if we do have an increase at all it won't be significant.
If we keep playing like we have since January yes it will improve - I expect the new ST holders were generally pay on the day last season but will go to more games, and a few other lapsed supporters will start paying on the day. Dont expect a large increase though - unless come Easter we are still in with a chance of promotion . I will go for an average home attendance up by about 500 on last season
usual 8k hardcore, a few more floating fans turning up if we are doing well, but can't see us topping 10k home fans all that often , folk are still skint.
All depends on results, I don't think we'll see any significant increase on season tickets, with the recession starting to hit this year, jobs going, wages reducing, benefits down, utilities and food prices up we'll do well to stand still attendance wise. If we are top half/sniffing a play-off spot it will make a difference otherwise no change
