He might be if he could cross a ball, unfortunately he is poor at that and unless they work on him I can't see that improving

Golbourne is one of the best players we have.

Golbourne, now Stones has left, is probably our best player........so why people should even question this is beyond me

And yes, we do need cover at left back, because when Golbourne got injured he became a big big loss to the side and that loss was not filled by any of the other players at the club
I cant think of any other left footed player at the club that could actually fill the left back role

One of the main reasons we struggled last season was the loss of our left back through injury and the loss of our right back through being sold - because a large part of the whole shape of the side was built on the ability and skill of these two players being able to move forward.
We affectively patched up the right hand side but never got to grips with the loss of Golbourne on the left

I am convinced Flicker sees Reuben as Goldie's successor. And if you watch the Hull game he did a better impression of Goldie. I'm optimistic about him, anyway.

Seriously? We struggled because Keith Hill was manager. He had Golbourne/Stones at his disposal, Flicker didn't.

Flicker took charge in January and lost Golbourne to injury and Stones to Everton, almost immediately. But even after losing 2 key players, who would have been an integral part in his wingback system, he still managed to transform us from being absolutely **** and positioned at the bottom of the league, into one of the form teams in the Championship (including an unbeaten run of 10/11 games, immediately after losing Golbourne/Stones) and keep us up.

Nudger is fast becoming the new Hemsworth. Where is he anyway? I miss him.

I hope we "struggle" next season in the same fashion we did from January onwards when we lost Golbourne and Stones.

Also, you don't have to be left footed to be a left back.
