Strange one this wit Silva. Liverpool fans on their forum weren't very happy when tey let him go for free and were all saying there must be a big sell on fee. will probably do well else where and be sold for 2 mill
There had been word for a long time that he didnt have the right 'DNA', i.e. couldnt be arsed to put a shift in. Can't say I'm all too disappointed to see him go. Never saw enough from him to back up his reputation and hopefully this will allow us to concentrate on developing the likes of Clark and Noble-Lazarus.
Could it be wages we are trying to offload... I assume we paid substatial wages to attract him... For a youth
Bags of talent but no work ethic, no commitment, no heart and bad attitude. He'll go far in the modern game.
Saw Silva twice and had the making of a quality player me. Beat players for fun and looked very creative.
Not sure any of us can offer a proper opinion on him as a footballer. I know I can't. I never saw him play.
Was he ever going to be here if anyone was appointed, never seeing him play i wouldnt suggest hes not up to it, but if hes not got near the first 11 yet hes unlikely to be a world beater.
Didn't Keith come out and publicly say he was soft? Was afraid if getting hurt so pussied out of challenges.
It doesn't look good does it? Bringing a player in then publicly slating him without giving said public a chance to see what the player is like.
The only decision Flicker has made which I don't understand. Surely if the lad has the natural ability (and it sounds as though he does) we should have the people to get the best out of him. Talent shouldn't be allowed to just drift away.
I know what you are saying but surely we have to be able to get the best out of naturally talented players. There aren't enough of them as it is. It will be hard to take if he goes on to great things.
The reason he has left is all to do with Flitcroft. Nothing at all to do with talent or anything else.
