They never used to fit in my Whitby Abbey mug when dunking, now they do. Like we weren't going to notice that you slaaaaggs!! This is a largely non-football post.
Those cheeky scamps at Unilever think they could decrease the size of the tomato sauce sachet in their Beef & Tomato Pot Noodle offering without noticing too. I clocked ya Unilever, sly devils. This is largely an unhealthy pasta based lunch snack post.
Mugs will be next. So we don't notice what they're doing with the biscuits. Where will it all end?? I'm having an anxiety attack just thinking about it.
Prices up sizes down. My excuse for a Twix earlier was pathetic. Everything is getting smaller and they think we are not noticing. Chic bars tripled in price and halved in size
As bad as the Kit Kat Chunky. When that came out it was a proper chocolate bar. Nowadays it's a shell of it's former self.
Re: What about the Yorkie bar? Scandalous. It's time to call it a day when that happens. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkie_(chocolate_bar)
This is one hell of a 'first world problem', but nevertheless really winds me up. I'd generally rather pay the little bit extra and still have the same quality of product I'm used to, but hey ho they sneak things smaller and raise prices anyway. The worst culprits by far are crisps. There is literally more air in a bag of Walkers than anything else, and the 'Grab Bags' probably contain the same amount of crisps as a standard pack did 10 years ago. My beloved Seabrooks have broken my heart with it. Each flavour tastes exactly the same (barely of anything) now and gone are the good, honest 'See What You Get' transparent bags full to the brim, replaced with a shitty half full bag of disappointment and a longing for times gone by.
You should see the **** Nestle get away with in the third world, let alone what they've done to the Yorkie.
I bought my first packet of Polo's in years yesterday. They used to be twice the girth. And they never used to cost 67p either.
I'm sure the costs saved in lopping off two chunks will go to help pay cocoa farmers a fair price... Ahem.
Knoworramean? Add that to the indigestible milk powders that killed African infants and the attempt to patent the traditional use of a indigenous, medicinal flower. Fckers.
Big One's don't "stick out a mile" either - it's more like a kilometre. Feckin EU; where's Nigel Farage when you need him?
