Was thinking of having an ambitious treble - QPR, Yeovil*, Blackpool

*Hope they do well but transfer activity so far suggests they will be playing with more or less their league one team

Yeovil, Millwall and Wednesday. Burnley and Blackpool to struggle too.

If you place at least a thousand pound bet with me, I'll beat any price your local Dick Turpin will give you on QPR going down.

Millwall - fairly confident and hope I am right
Yeovil - fairly confident and hope I am wrong

The 3rd spot is a bit more open but would go for Blackburn Donny or Blackpool - hoping its Blackburn

I fancy Yeovil to stay up. I think they will be really hard to break down at Huish Park and after seeing them against Sheffield United on that Bank Holiday Monday, I think they could do some teams damage. Gary Johnson has got Championship experience and can see them fighting.

I don't think QPR going down is ambitious. Harry Redknapp will walk out as soon as it gets tough. He's been waiting for something to happen so he can leave and any excuse. Ill be backing them for 24th and doing a Wolves.

Doncaster will be the other obvious for me. Paul Dickov is a hopeless manager. Donny haven't really signed well at this moment either. I think them and QPR at the moment will both be down.

The third team could be a number of sides. Despite a few signings, I think Birmingham and Derby will struggle this year. I also reckon Burnley, Millwall and Blackpool will as well so I reckon the third at bottom place will be between one of Millwall, Blackpool or Birmingham. Derby and Burnley will both just stay up because they've got decent forwards.

Surely all the promoted teams based on some of our most intelligent posters based on the fact their teams are mostly made up of "lower league *****"!

I actually think Yeovil may do ok. Some talent mixed with work ethic. Much like us. Although we now shop at Harrods not Primark. (Reference to Bayern NOT Wednesday!)

Blackburn -- Doncaster -- and the club that goes into administration - bound to be one.

Qpr... Decent manager and team on paper with a number of old heads at this level still on the books. Can't see them going down but I suspect that they might struggle to go up.

Yeovil I have to say are my favourites as much as I hate to say it.

Now a club starting with B will get relegated this season.

I don't think Barnsley will, think well be quite decent this season.

    However, you've got. The following:-

birmingham in a mess financially. Running out of players to sell to keep afloat. Owners still under investigation for money laundering, HSBC called in his loans which needs to be cleared...

blackpool their best players off. The chairman seems to have pocketed the parachute payments. Going to be a long difficult season for them. Especially with pillock Paul in charge.

blackburn without Jordan Rhodes they'd be down. Over relianent on him. Money issues as well with early reports the next set of books they produce will show a £40m loss after appropriations.

burnley again another club over reliant on one player, this time Charlie Austin. A player burnley are fending off a number of bids for. Be surprised if he starts the season there.

    And my last one:-

    Dirty Leeds.

Take over completed... Even less money. Have to sell before bringing in a new face. Think McDermott will get found out now..

Blackburn lose Rhodes they'll struggle - Millwall another team who'll be in trouble and I couldn't say another one. Very tight league

Blackpool are in disarray. Best players going, oyston won't spend any money. Fans disillusioned. This from a Blackpool fan I know. Can see them going.

Can't see Bournemouth dropping but Yeovil have their work cut out big time.

Donny would be my bet as well.

Blackpool have lost a lot of players already and I wouldn't be surprised to see their two main assets (Ince & Phillips) leave before the end of August.

From the promoted teams, Bournemouth have financial power on their side, where as the other two look pretty weak. Charlton, Millwall, Burnley and the Fowls could also struggle.

Donny, Yeovil and either Wednesday, Burnley or Millwall depending on who they recruit/keep hold of.

Millwall as they had a poor second half to last season. Middlesbrough for the same reason (they're the surprise for me). Finally Yeovil. I think they'll do ok until about December but then injuries etc will kick in.
