    Striker Michael Higdon, who was the top scorer in the SPL last season with 26 goals for Motherwell, has chosen to join Dutch Eredivisie outfit NEC Nijmegen on a free transfer.

    he was never the right fit for us. didn't even have the decency to respond to our offer. he'll do nothing in holland, and end up back back over here in League 1
