    I can't see him coming, but at 32 he's not over the hill yet. I'd be happy if he came, as long as he isn't demanding high wages.

    Proven goal scorer - even at 32 he would be a 20 goal a season man at this level (assuming he stays fit). If it were true I could really see him and COG clicking up front.

    Would be over the moon if we can get him but could be a long shot with wages. It's been rumoured over the last few months when he got injured his contract would be terminated but then again, we brought a younger Mido in.

    Looking at his history under managers, there is only David Moyes and Mark Hughes who played him who have a job now. Can't see him going to Stoke and obviously United are out of the question so could happen.

    QPR fans on twitter are talking as if it's a done deal, trying to pick their brains a little to see where this rumour has come from. Sounding like QPR are wanting to release him from his contract and he also wants to leave sooner rather than later, you just never know with football, he's a proven goal scorer, capped by England and ticks all the boxes for us, but probably ticks the boxes of around 20 other teams in this division.
