Let me ask you a serious question Phil and please try to answer honestly. Do you hold all opinions that you don't agree with in such contempt or do you act differently on here to in real life? And why do you dismiss opinions from those who you dont rate or who played the game before you started watching so quickly? Sorry that's two questions but I was on a role.

 

you can NOT call a cricketer a cheat if your part of the commentators team Mario. I would say that any time. The England team have in the most not said much but former player Harmison wasn't so kind.

I don't have Sky mate, but i had Channel 4. A pretty good reason as to why i lost interest watching cricket.

Even if i had sky now, i would only be able to watch an hours play a day. Back when i was at college i used to skive and watch it all day (...those were the days etc). I think you got the wrong end of the stick pal.

 

It's a FACT. He can tell you things the others just can't. Crickets changed so much since most of them played. Micheal Holding admits it every time he's on.

I don't watch cricket so I don't really know what you're talking about but what is your opinion of when an English football team plays a foreign team and the TV commentators call the opposition players cheats every time one of them falls over?

 

What it was about ST is different to a player diving or blocking the ball with a hand.
Artificially changing the ball's not accepted.
You just had to listen to Harmison talking about it to see the magnitude of what he said.

A commentator should NEVER call a player a cheat. you simply can't.

I remember when a commentator last season said that Martin Kelly wasn't or shouldn't be injured. he was out for 8 month.
yohan cabaye, got tackled. Held his ankle because it was probably hurting. Something was said and he got up. Ray Wilkings or what ever he's called said there was nothing wrong with him, He ended up been out for 5 or 6 weeks with a ankle problem.

 

Get a stream up from theskystream.com now and again. Probably give it a whirl on Friday. The picture doesn't fill the screen though, and coverage gets a bit jerky now and again, can just about put up with it. Cant complain because its free! Im not sure if that's the best stream? I know first row sports is good for footy (think they are trying to ban that one though)

Probably start looking at getting Sky at some point, its just persuading the other half. Our broadband changed to Sky (took over o2) a few months ago and they are doing a few months free for broadband customers etc, it could be the breakthrough i need to persuade her!
