When the teams were announced prior to the start of the game, the announcer said ' There are some surprises in the substitutes line up, we will tell you more in the second half' What surprises? The only surprise was that there weren't any, and the majority of the crown had gone to see Dale Jennings ( the only NEW signing) and he never got a kick. Apart from that a very enjoyable game, with good football from both sides. Must say Paul Digby was a revelation tonight, and must be pushing the first team squad.
I thought the same. He definitely said that there were to be some surprises and that they would be announced in the second half. I was disappointed to find there weren't any. I'm sure that at half time he also mentioned that Jennings would be coming on later which he didn't.
