thankyou for that Tyke1... so Digby????

could be a new JS, that's very encouraging ... do you think we need not try to beg Everton to loan out Stones. I think perhaps not.

Really pleased for Daggers. Second goal looked marginal, too.

Hopefully goes some way to convincing his critics on here that he's first choice up front.

But the critics are out already. After a bleeding friendly.

    Love the BBS.

Thought we'd got him back he's been sat in the corner stand all the match.

    Shut up...

was he really in the stand, if so could be a good sign. I am not at all putting Diggers down here , no way. But JS was class for us. Hope I am coming across ok in what I am trying to say.

    Re: Shut up...

Thought Nyatanga was OK, think he gave the ball away a bit cheaply seconds before they scored.

The starting eleven didn't seem very balanced in midfield to me but Dagnall took his goal well and could have had more. Don't think I've ever seen more offside decisions given in a game?

We were the better side, possession may have been slightly in their favour but we did a lot more with it. Suppose you have to wonder how seriously they were taking it but you could say the same about us, barring the odd dodgy tackle it definitely looked like watching a friendly.

O'Grady didn't seem to do much did he? I'm hoping that's because it was a friendly and he didn't want to get too physical which is obviously a large part of his game.

Disappointed not to see Jennings but not sure why people are moaning about the fact, bit daft if they only went to the game to see him.

Hard to gauge the crowd whilst sat in the middle of it but it seemed pretty decent for a friendly, can't remember the attendance being announced but it had to be well over 4000.

    Paul Digby - wow.

With his mates, doubt there's anything in it. We move on. My summary, strong all round. Very excited about Digby. Can understand the comparisons with Stones. Looks class, can't wait to see him develop. Just hope we don't buckle again, after 30 odd games. McNulty - will be the biggest restoration since the Sistine Chapel. Sorry, but he just scares the $hit outta me. I REALLY want to be proved wrong

Don't think we suit 442. Pulled apart at times at back and Perkins needs someone to cover and Mellis needs to be in middle as does nothing otherwise. Defence would look surer if 3 in middle
