We'd have lost at Anfield with Muller in goal. In fact, we'd have lost at Anfield with any other keeper in goal. Best keeper performance from a BFC player I've ever seen. Just an impossibly good debut. 10 out of 10 is an understatement.

Whitey...........yer not the only one.........but you struggle to debate a point

Instead of following the other kids in the playground you need to step back and try to think for yourself

Right. So because I don't agree with you that we need better than Steele, and because I am of the opinion that both RNL and TK offer competition on the left side of defence, I am 'following the other kids/sheep.."????

So they aren't my opinions based on the games I've seen?

    Thanks for that, Nudge.

You know foooking well what I'm talking about...........comments like........ 'Are you blind, drunk, or blind drunk?'........... are not offering anything constructive to this message board and you are doing it because you are incapable of offering anything other than following the rest of the children that post on here

So it's okay is it for you to call us children? You can't have it both ways, pal.

And let's be Frank. If tha going to come on a message board with the intention of being a WUM you're going to get WUM responses.

I'm going now. Have a good Sunday, pal.

    Assuming too much there..........'pal'

Just because people like myself and others, including Hemsworth Tyke express views that are not in keeping with the majority does not makes us 'WUMs'.

We need more of these types of comments so there can be an healthy debate.........but you and a list of others, and you only have to see some of the comments on this thread to be able to identify a few of them, are unable to argue a point without first spewing out a load of abuse

This is a sort of internet bullying.............and I can tell you that it is keeping people away from expressing their views on here.

Some of these have been well know posters in the past

Nudger you don't debate though do you? You choose to say the exact opposite to anyone and everyone who posts on here. I've never actually read a post that you've written where you've backed a point up, it's purely opinion and surely with the state of your opinion you can't attend many games because their that wide of the mark it's quite unreal and I really don't blame people for thinking your a WUM.

As everyone and their pet goldfish knows we simply do not have the money to go out and buy another keeper, but even if we did why would we? Steele is one of the best keepers in this league and there's no doubt about that. Yes his kicking and distribution at times could be questioned but who would you suggest we go and sign? Taking into account the total lack of funds available to Flitcroft? Football is a game of opinions yes, but anyone who says Luke Steele should be a second choice keeper for Barnsley Football Club then their opinion is that left wing then it shouldn't even be heard.

Regarding right footed left wingers, it's actually encouraged in German football and we can't really argue with those boys right now can we? Much easier for a player to cut inside at pace. Joe Cole in his Chelsea days was **** hot at doing it. I think maybe even flicker would want another left winger on the books if hehad the wages so I'm ill agree with you on that one.

I'm sorry, 'pal' but I don't think this forum needs people who post diametric opinions for the sake of it. That isn't 'healthy' debate, it's just two idiots arguing with the majority, and it's tiresome.

As for being unable to argue a point without spewing abuse, I am yet to see proof of any abuse you speak of. And I can argue all day, mate. It's an art form.

    'Internet bullying' is it now?

So because you state a completely alternate view to practically everyone who supports BFC, and this view is based on nothing because you admittedly didn't attend a game once Keith was sacked, I and those disagreeing with you are internet bullies?

    Obviously.

    Jeez.

And your last remark regarding well known posters staying away etc, I know at least 10 who don't post on here anymore and it's because of one poster on here, the only one who probably thinks you talk sense, Nudge.

The hilarious thing is, you didn't use to post in this manner. Not at all. It's as though you've had your login pinched by another, or you've had a brainswap.

Each to their own. You can keep on at it for me. But don't talk ***** about people bullying or abusing you. That's as ridiculous as Kevin Donovan.

Your first point is just plain wrong, but your other two points are what this message board should be about.
I am not and never have been a wind up merchant...........I just say it as I see it...........I listen to what people have to say but that dosent stop me from having my own opinion. There's probably only an handful of posters on here that do this.............the others just follow the flow and shout abuse at anyone who has the nerve to sort of step out of line
    So lets take your points.....

    1) The original post was that we need another centre back..........my response to that original post was.............'Yep, I would say the same'
So your opinion there is invalid

    2) How do you know that Barnsley Football club has not got any funds to bring in a new keeper? Who told you this, or where have you read this? If you look at the facts we have been more active in the transfer market this last few weeks than for example both the 'massives' north and south of us. If you have access to information regarding the amount of funds that are available to Flicka to spend on players then I will stand corrected on this. However, I don't think you have that access and probably no one else who posts on here will have that access.
That is to say - do not assume that Barnsley Football Club has no money to spend on players.

    3) If you look at the 'English' game you will find that most left backs are left footed and most right backs are right footed. To my knowledge we have two left footed wing players (maybe 3 if Lasarus is left footed) so I don't think it is in any way ridiculous to say that we could do with more left footed wing players at the club.

Nudger, you might actually win some people over in to having a debate with you if you learn how to type without the constant full stops and perhaps learning how to spell our players names.

It's very difficult on the eyes trying to read your ramblings when it's written in such a manner.

    I'll help you get started:

Kennedy is about as 1 footed a player as I've ever seen - and I'll give you a clue - it's not his right peg. McNulty is a left footer too.

Do you even watch Barnsley play very often? Ill informed posts like that just devalue your opinions beyond compare.

Recently almost every thread has been derailed so people can squabble about HT, it looks to me like arr Nudger has been reading them getting incredibly jealous so is now doing his level best to get talked about, poor lad just wants some attention.

'We shoehorned Downing in on the left, coz he was left footed, turned out he was utter ***** and we were worse, shoulda just played a decent player there instead whichever foot he plays with.'

    Something like that probably…….

Because it's a well known fact we simply do not have the money to splash out in players, especially in a department in which we already have 3 goalkeepers! Why on earth would flitcroft waste funding on a goalkeeper when we already have one of the best in this division and decent back up? Surely he'd have half a brain cell more than any numpty who thought that and would instead think 'why sign a 4th goalkeeper when I could put 300k extra onto looking for another striker' it's not rocket science, pretty much common sence. I'm not having a go at you, because it's a game of opinions but it really does seem that you just want to poor cold water over everything positive about BFC.

Flitcroft may be happy wi squad so far , it gives the young ones a chance to impresss and improve, and gives him options to get loan players in if he thinks he needs them
