I drove passed Rotherham rd playing fields earlier today , noticed several caravans on the fields mr athersley . Come on councillor s gerrem shifted . Scum barstxxxx .
I know a few travellers and to be honest they are amongst the most sound people I know...don't get me wrong there are people within their community who rob and scam but isn't that a problem with people who live in houses as well?
Point taken and fair do,s but tell me a time when they have left a place tidy as when arrived .No Rates , No rent, .sorry mate I can,t stand em .
I couldn't give two hoots if there's a few good eggs amongst them, the issues they cause and costs associated with cleaning up after them means they should be getting ****ed off ASAP. I don't pay best part of a grand a year to clean up after some knackers.
Why is it racist? I've never understood that. If they are born here and choose to live in a caravan then fine but they are not a different race to the rest of us surely?
Has Dawson's family come for a visit? Did I just go too far? Soz. Everyone has the right to express concerns and issues relating to their community, but I would be wary of randomly hating a group of people because they have a way of life different to your own. There is only one natural conclusion to that.
Fair point...But most Asians and Caribbean's I know are second or third generation Brits, but are still subjected to racial abuse on a daily basis.
"Case law established Gypsies as a recognised ethnic group in England in 1989 (Commission for Racial Equality v Dutton) and Irish Travellers, already protected by race relations law in Northern Ireland, were recognised as a distinct ethnic group in England and Wales in 2000 (O'Leary v Allied Domecq). In October 2008 K MacLennan v Gypsy Traveller Education and Information Project (CaseCheck Case Reports 2008) led to a landmark ruling that Scottish Gypsy/Travellers are a distinct ethnic group bringing them within the protection of the Race Relations Act. In Wales the Welsh Assembly Government has a general duty to ensure equality of opportunity for all people without reference to membership of specific groups." http://www.rcn.org.uk/development/practice/social_inclusion/gypsy_and_traveller_communities
