Go on then, what's your name? It's not Eeeeeeeeeaaaaaaandrew is it? When we were choosing names for our kids, we deliberately avoided any name beginning with a vowel because said in any North American accent, such a name is pronounced just wrong!
Its Cillian my first name, and my surname Lamberty-Zywczyk although i only use Zywczyk They pronounced my surname instantly and correctly but couldnt manage my first
Just having my first experiances with the US medical system. Went for a job interview and failed my medical due to high blood pressure, 198/105.And was told i may have sleep apnea. So got myself a doctor, i must admit there fast and efficent, but when you leave they have check out kiosks where you pay. Made me chuckle when i saw them. So i have had a full medical with EKG Scan on my heart done a sleep apnea test, and on blood pressure meds. Glad i have insurance if not would have cost $5000 so far. Only had to pay $25.
I see your Zywczyk and raise you a Szczoczarz Dont think i have ever had anyone pronounce it right 1st time
I know, I broke my leg 2 weeks ago when pissed up with the wife, i fell down the stairs in the apartment. It just seem wierd having to pay for something that you are used to getting for free, the bill would have been around $7000 for it all in the end, but fortunately i was covered on my insurance and only had to pay $67
Americans didn't have any problem pronouncing these names. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/07/15/asiana-crash-tv-station-pilot-names_n_3596976.html Pity they were made up.
