... deary me that Club shop gets worse.

Virtually no stock and very little choice of anything. It's either polyester kit, polyester training shirts or an overpriced polo shirt. That's it. Nothing for women.

I realise that the club doesn't want excess stock on its hands, but we are 2 weeks away from the start of the season, one week away from the Open Day, and also kids/ families will generally be off on their holidays in the next week or two.

The sooner we get shut of Nike the better. Huge mistake giving a franchise to a company that seemingly doesn't care what below par rubbish it supplies us with.

I'd like to see people in Barnsley wearing Barnsley stuff... but the choice is appalling.

Out of interest I looked at Blackpool's store,(similar size club)... loads more stuff.

Agreed, the quality is 100 times better than the stuff we've had in the past. The training gear is good, l like those blocked Polo's this season, like a mixture between our previous 2 Nike kits.

Personally I can't stand Nike, as a corporation or the stuff they make, it smacks of USA in my mind. Adidas shits pn it.

I seem to remember an outpouring of elation when Nike got the concession...Ahh the joy of 20/20 hindsight, eh?

Brand wise it's one of the best, but the cost of stuff is a bit daft, even though footy gear is daft prices anyway- £52 for an England shirt? Nah tha reyt.

The stock of the shop should be packed out though.

And there should be more choice of stuff.

Just out of interest did they give you your tickets mate or did you just buy them? I went in to buy mine on Monday and they didn't have the tickets or books in.

Everything is polyester. i.e. cheap. But at extortionate prices. Very little imagination in design.
It's either replica top; training top or polo shirt. Not a t shirt or any other kind of top to be had at all.

Maybe I'm fussy, but a fitted cotton t shirt can't be beyond possibility ?

It's Nike I don't like. Multi million pound company churning out "good quality polyester"??

Preferred it when Shirley ran the shop and used to ask fans about products and whether they'd buy them .... back in the good old days.

Be interested to know what is actually good from that shop.

Not been funny or anything fired but the stuff they sells for people to play sports in. Not sure how much cotton you want to be playing football in.
