Also I agree with you on Chopra, except he was more ruthless (and possibly lucky! I've never known a player hit the woodwork as much as Daggers)

    Maclean for me

everything Ive read about Chopra recently suggests he's bad news, clearly still has serious debts to service as he came out and said he wouldnt be leaving Ipswich unless they paid him off. His attitude stinks, in many ways represents everything I dislike in a footballer, look after no.1, his agent will be looking to get him the biggest pay day possible.

Maclean is a striker Ive followed a bit and always been impressed when Ive seen him, good work rate, clinical finisher, right attitude, he'd be a good fit for us and I really hope we manage to sign him.

We conceeded a lot of goals again last season, and we've replaced Foster with Nyatanga, which I don't see as much of a difference in my opinion. I'd like us to just sign one more personally, one who is good in the air to compensate for the lack or aerial presence of Cranie, Wiseman and Kennedy. That was our undoing last season, even in the back end of the season.

I agree about Chopra, he is far too great of a risk. Waghorn and Vardy have hardly played at this level, nevermind scored at this level. I want us to sign Mclean, think he will find a new lease of life, under Flicker.

I hope you're right. And we're not in need of a 20 goal striker anyway. If COG, Daggers, Jason-Jason and Macca all reach double figures, with Jenno, Mells, Sisska (good ol Flicker), Jimbob, Reubs etc all chipping in a few too, we'll be sound. As a pound.

    I wouldn't mind either

I don't think the management team would consider bringing in any player who would then be a disruptive figure to the squad.
